Online News Publication Membership

NNA defines online news publications as those that are available to the general public via the World Wide Web and updated regularly and consistently­ no less than each week. Online publications can be paid or free news websites or electronic news publications with at least 25 percent news content and staff produced local news. Membership cannot extend to publications serving primarily as a platform to promote the interest and/or opinions of a special interest group, individual or cause.
